On Sunday, Israeli soldiers abducted nine Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank and one in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Fares Sarhan from Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem while standing in front of an Israeli interrogation center, awaiting the release of his brother Sultan.
The soldiers also abducted a young man, a political prisoner identified as Abdul-Rahman Eyad Al-Hadra, when he was released from the Ramon prison after spending a prison sentence of 21 months.
In Jabal Al-Mokabber, in occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Adham Yousef Gheith from his home, while in the At-Tour town, the soldiers abducted a child, Younis Resheq, from his family’s home.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Shu’fat town, north Jerusalem, and broke into the political prisoner Abbas Salehi’s home before confiscating 650 shekels and silver jewelry.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Hammoudi Farhan Abu Ar-Rob and Mohammad Tawfiq Abu Ar-Rob, after confiscating their bulldozer and tractor while working on Palestinian lands in Jalboun village, northeast of the city.
In Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Sa’id Jamal Shawahna, in his thirties, from Kafr Thulth town, south of the city, while crossing a sudden military roadblock near the Al-Funduq village, east of Qalqilia.
In Tulkarem, also in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, Osaid Wa’el Jada’a, 25, near the Annexation Wall section, west of Zeit town, north of the city. Osaid was only released from an Israeli prison about 45 days earlier before he was abducted again, Sunday.
The soldiers also stormed and ransacked several shops on Far’un street, south of Tulkarem, and confiscated surveillance recordings and equipment.
Earlier Sunday, the army invaded the western area of Tulkarem city and suburbs of Ertah and Shweika, in the northern and southern parts of the city, before breaking into shops and confiscating surveillance recordings and equipment.
Another former political prisoner from Tulkarem, Ahmad Essam Oteiwi, was abducted at a sudden military roadblock near Deir Sharaf, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
In the Gaza Strip, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian near the perimeter fence east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region.
